Reporting in from the Five-O:
Keepin' up w/ the 6 & 1's
 Got an invite to the north shore w/ a bunch of SS's for a joy ride & shrimp run (the area is known for their shrimp, and now i know first-hand  ). I'm normally a total townie and usually never travel that far north. I'm even a bit ashamed to admit i still manage to get lost around here despite living here my whole life.  Half of them were 2-up w/ their girlfriends and i'm totally proud of the fact that i was the only female bike-tamer of the group  . At the meet-up, a couple of the guys, upon seeing my ride, expressed some concerns about keeping up w/ the occasional spirited riding and passing but i think they ended up being pleasantly surprised.  I decided to place myself in the middle of the formation(? - not much of one since they rode more squidlier than organized, but i guess SS's are allowed that  ) so i wouldn't be left behind and forgotten  which wouldn't be very hard for these guys xD. I think the only times i ever truly started to fall behind was when i failed to anticipate their accels, but other than that, i think i did quite well for myself. ^_^Anywho... i only regret not documenting more of our adventures.  (Next time, tho!) My "in" w/ this group had a GoPro. I'll try to track down the vid if&when it makes it to the web. For now, these are the only souvenirs i took from the day. Enjoy! And to note, a couple milestones i passed with this group is redlining (dunno which gear) for passing and WOT on 6th

Riding w/ 600's can be a chore..esp when they are the type to nail it on straights.
As long as you had fun and learned a few things / pushed your limits some more...it's all good

cops can't get to ya if it's bumper to bumper and you have the option (tho, not legally here) to lane split. Well...
