DIY: All The Things!

Alright so when I went through the process of installing my new airfilter jet kit and exhaust I documented everything with video. I could possibly make video DIY's of everything I did and everything that led up to the things I did (i.e. Let's get nekkid!) Question is, does my DIY video suck or should I do more of them.

Here is one for an oil change, it ended up being much longer than I had intended.

Link to original page on YouTube.

Might want to clarify that it's washer then spring then filter on the oil filter bolt. Everything else looked good, well done.

Oh **** I typed wrong. It is spring then washer then filter. But again, You might just want to put an annotation writing the order out because I dont think you spoke all 3 words.

As I got more tired throughout the day in my other footage I ended up talking a lot less, I could always do a voice over or just put worded notes in, possibly even steps straight from the other DIYs on the site. My intent for DIY videos would be in addition to the write ups

Great video man -- my only suggestion would be to add something like "2008+ Ninja 250" or "How to change your oil on..." to the title, so that people searching for similar vids can find it by the title. They'll probably skip over it if they don't see that.

Unless this is just for the forum here, in which case... Doesn't matter

So again question, when I did the fairings I talked about what to do but when I did the airbox, just from being tired I didn't really talk at all. So should I go record a voice over of whats going on in the vids or should I just type everything on screen like the few parts I did in the oil change vid?

this is a pretty good DIY. Would be great if all the DIY that no longer have pictures/videos would be re-made. Like cleaning carb's, chain adjustment, and so on.

keep up the good work!

Just finished my oil change following your video. Thanks alot! It went nice an smoothly. Also added a little flair for me, plus my daughter saw the wheel stickers and wanted me to get some. The pic is my new avatar.
