Nice, tastefully modded pregen. Clarksville, TN

I have a 2005 Ninja 250 for sale. It has roughly 2000 miles on it(climbing as it IS still ridden..its a fun bike) It has almost new Bridgestone BT45 tires installed. It gets 60+mpg running the wheels off the bike. I am 5'6" 170 lbs and the bike will go 100 mph, though that is pretty close to top end. It will also run 70-80 mph all day, if the revs don't bother you, they surely don't bother the bike.

I'll miss the bike if it sells. The reason for selling is that it's just redundant parked next to a Ninja 650 and TL1000R.

It has the following mods:
-adjustable clutch and brake levers from Ninja 650
-Kerker full exhaust
- Factory Pro jet kit(extra jets and stuff included with bike!)
- K+N pod filter
-center stand removed(for exhaust install)
-homemade fender eliminator

It comes with the following mods not yet installed:
-Ninja 250 specific Fox Racing shock
-Racetech Emulators
-Racetech .75 fork springs

Also includes these spares:
-pair of fork tubes(for re-springing/re-valving forks)
-stock exhaust (removed for pipe install)
-centerstand (removed for pipe install)

I am looking to get $2200/obo

Trades:
-Other motorcycles,
-Street legal dirt bikes
-cars from the 60s/early 70s
-Miatas
-Mustangs
- 4x4s?
-MGBs or similar
-firearms(AR15s and pistols primarily)
-Project cars/motorcycles(clean titles, please)

Anyways, here are some pictures.

Info?

How old is it, what weight rider is it set up for, how much would you be looking for just the shock? etc.

I'm still deployed, and havent seen it yet.

Previous owner mentioned it was setup for a 160lb rider and it was rebuilt a few years ago.

I am not willing to seperate form the bike unless the bike sells at a lower price without the goodies. I still enjoy the bike, I just dont enjoy it as much as the Ninja 650 and the Suzuki TL1000R that are parked next to it. As such I want to enjoy its strongest ability, handling as much as possible until it sells.

Understandable. I respect that.

PM me if anything changes and you decide to sell the shock separately.

2k miles? Man this baby is practically new.

Great price. If I didn't already have a 2 fiddy I'd be mighty tempted.

Good luck with the sale!

I spy a couple mods you didn't mention.

Of course, there's the fender eliminator and then there's the Asian Cycle flushmount turn signal indicators.

Meh, cosmetic mods don't stay in the front of my mind very much. The ones you mentioned DO make all of the difference though!

I'm functional mod kind of guy. Thanks for noticing the "other" stuff though.

If you plan on selling some parts separate and oneofakind doesn't want that rear shock I am interested in Fox Racing shock Racetech Emulators Racetech .75 fork springs I can pay you in hugs but cash always does fine.

Well I'm certainly not going to take much if any less than $2000 because it really is a pretty sweet bike. However, I have another sweet bike that will take alot of my riding attention. I also have another lower class Ninja as well.

That exhaust will sell for $200 all day. I'd part it especially since you still have the stocker.

What am I looking at here?

That is the breather hose from the crankcase that used to go to the airbox. I couldn't leave an open unfiltered hose in good conscience. So I took a valve cover breather/filter from a SVO Mustang and used ti as a filter and put its opening near the air filter so at full throttle when blowby should be the highest, it pulls the vapors into the filter. In this way the vapors from the breather doesn't deposit oil all over the inside/underside of my ninjette.

I dont want to get rid of the exhaust seperately unless the bike sells for less with the stock stuff. I like the exhaust so I want to enjoy it until that happens.
