BRT Programmable help

Im planning on running 100 octane. Does any one have a map for that fuel? If not, how much timing should you add? I was thinking an addition 4 degrees across the map would be good. Also, how do these motors take to colder or hotter spark plugs?

^ no clue

But here is old topic about BRT,

http://www.ninjette.org/forums/showthread.php?t=90935

post 4 @Racer x suggests contacting "Ztrack Matt at Sportisimoto" who seems to know a lot about it, and was one of the original testers of the product from what i gather reading some of his posts in other forums. But Racer X might be able to help you out as well

Good luck keep us posted.

35 is stock timing . Set the whole line at 42 stock timing for a pre gen. Then ride around. You might want to add 1 or 2 around 7500 if you have a flat spot. And you might pull 1 below 5000 just for street riding. But this is just a start point

Here is a Dyno Chart of the maps for the non programmable BRT i-DTIS. Should help give you an idea of where the changes should be. Map 2 is for higher octane.

With stock compression I have pushed it to 44. But it took 117 main jets and was not optimal because it would crackle in lower gears. But made better top end power.

Keep it around 41_+ the thing you can do is hide the mid range flat spot with a little timing advance. Set one map to one that works and set the other to an experimental map and ride around for a couple days.

X - so the 8500 to 9600 RPM dip can be lessened just by adding some timing there? Good. Care to share what you did with just your motor (no N2O)?

That is what I did when I was running stock carbs and stock pistons.

My motors are just stock. With a beefed up clutch and JE pistons. But since I don't ride on the street I don't really tune below 8000 rpm. The last dyno session I flound it was lean in mid range and went to a thinner needle.

With pistons and the CR carbs the flat spot is gone. The carbs don't allow you to get into a flat spot.
