AFM 250 SuperBike Build

Ok so Originally I was going to run my pre-gen 250 in AFM production but now have since been talked out of that because tires suck. I am now doing Superbike class and need to know exactly what the rules are ie pod filters etc? The rules seem vague as it says basically you just need the motorcase to be the same?

Any superbike AFM riders input is needed by far.

I was also wondering if I would be able to cut out the rear subframe and weld up tabs to attach my own aluminum since it says I can in the rules but since it is one piece? Not sure on that either. If anyone knows anyone I could just talk to to see what I need what people are running etc. It would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!

And no I'm not buying a newgen. I like to learn and I have access to lathes and mills welders etc...besides I have 3 pre-gens to work with here.

race ULWS with us at CVMA. it is now a full formula class, so you can do pretty much whatever you want.

Hmmm that is an option but it is also 6 hours away from me and Button willow Sonoma and Thunderhill are about 1 hour 4 hours and 5 1/2hours respectively. I have heard awesome things about Chuckwalla though. To be honest I should just race both because your supersport class is identical to AFM Production. I should honestly just buy a New-gen : /.

Looks like the allow the ninja 300 in ULWS too.
