Thanks everyone!!! Had a great time at the Dragon. There was a rotary get together, some Miatas and about 30 Ford Broncos (old school). There were some sick 3rd gen RX-7's. A few of them stopped by to chat with my mom (go mom!!). Lots of police officers. Apparently a bike cop stopped and talked to mom as well, he said he wouldn't give me a ticket and would take care of it if I got one from any of the other cops since it was my birthday (go mom!!!).

2 of my friends showed up. One on a GSXR 600 and one on an R6. I'm about as fast as the GSXR dude. He's been riding for 5 years. I've been riding for... 4 months. I still can't get my knee all the way down, but it's getting closer and closer. I know what I need to do to get there. Practice will help that out.

My seat cowl is awesome. My Dainese pants are awesome. Weather was awesome. (Almost) Everyone there was awesome.

I about got hit by a dude on a Ninja ZX6r because he went to pass a group of people and was in my lane on a straight away. I had just come out of a blind turn and there he was. There were a couple of people who wouldn't pull off the side of the road and were going 20-25mph. The speed limit is 35 so that was frustrating. There was one accident. A stick in the middle of the road caused the community to lose a very nice, very red Ducati 1099s.

The rotaries didn't smoke too bad. There was a Dinan M3 that was smoking pretty bad though.

I'll get some pictures and post a ride report later. I'm tired.

Sunny, my dad called me at like 7 am and sang happy birthday to me. It was horrible. It was better than Easter though. We were eating brunch at a local hotel when someone spotted the Easter bunny. With 2 grandma's and my stepmom present, there was no way i was going to get out of it. Ya, you guessed it, I got my picture taken with the Easter bunny. So much for being an adult...

So far I have gotten some money and a seat cowl. A modest birthday. I'm much happier spending time with my family on my birthday so most of the time I'll ask for dinner or lunch somewhere as my gift. I always try and hit my parents up for the big stuff though (c'mon GoPro!!!). I still have lunch tomorrow to look forward to.
