Bodycams for Motorcyclists?

Hey All,

So I'm selling a Sony Action Cam (that I would usually attach to the top/side of my helmet).

And I got to thinking, is there such a niche or does any motorcyclist out there wear a body cam ? (like the ones cops wear)

I'm looking to "streamline" my "look" when I'm out and about on my bike. I usually find that have a camera attached to the top/side of your helmet looks silly and goofy (only cuz they are so damn bulky, yes even the smaller ones like the Mobius Action Cam, ReplayXD, Polaroid Cube...etc).

I still really want to be able to record my rides but I don't want to look like a friggen alien/mobile antenna trying to catch comm signals from Mars.

Anyways, has anyone tried out any "bodycam" styled products ?

Especially on a ninja/sport bike, I'm not sure what good a chest rig would do. I mounted my camera on a windshield bolt. It sucked.

I moved it to my helmet, it was much nicer.

If you have a sport posture you won't see much unless you ride upright.

I saw a cop walking around with a camera over his ear. It was about the size of a pen and, after explaining why I was curious, told me it could record and store his entire 8 hour shift.

Unfortunately when I looked it up (forgot the brand now) it was in the neighborhood of a grand.

You could always grab this helmet: http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/b...-360fly-helmet
