Ninja 250R Pearl White TW

Hi guys!

I'm new around here.

I'm from Brazil, 25 years old, work as engineer, and I've bought my 250R Ninja on November 4th, 2011. It's now almost with 3.000 kilometers.

Well, I've made some modes on my bike. All of them very simple.
Here (in Brazil) we don't have the same White LE. Our LE is Green.
So I got the Standard Pearl White.

Here it is:

Actual Stage:

- [UP] Reflective Wheel Red Decal
- [UP] Philips H7 Diamond Vision Bulbs
- [UP] R&G Tail Tidy / Licence Plate Holder
- [UP] Yoshimura Rear Set Brackets
- [UP] Small Ducati Turn Signals
- [UP] Vibration Activated 120dB Security Alarm
- [UP] Waterproof Smartphone Bar Mount (for Atrix)
- [UP] Aluminium Tyre Valve Cap Black Cover
- [UP] Tank Pad Orbital Carbon/Clear
- [UP] T10 White 9 LED's for Positioning Light
- [UP] White LED lightning for Stock Speedometer
- [UP] NGK Iridium Laser Spark Plugs - CR9EIA9 (6289)
- [UP] K&N Oil Filter KN-401
- [UP] K&N High Flow Air Filter KA-2508
- [UP] Rapid Transit Stack LT Magnetic Tank Bag
- [UP] Rapid Transit Shrapnel Motorcycle Backpack

Coming next:

Nice bike!

First off, where did you get that sticker!

I've been thinking about getting the Yosh rearset brackets. What do you think of them and how is the riding position? How difficult was install?

Okay....LOVE THE BIKE! I'm partial to the white ones. I think that would look awesome with white rims. I like the sticker too. Gotta link for that? Also like the white speedo mod. Nice job!

Edit: Looked up your helmet....like it too!

I've made all my modes by myself. I don't trust to put my bike in other guy hands, so I "work alone"

This mode really makes me happy, because my bike is white, so that color of the speedo was not cool at all. This white color is now much better.

It's very simple.

I have used one T10 Bulb with 4 white Led's for each "small circle". I mean.. left and right. (RPM and Temperature. Yours is Fuel Tank). One bulb each.
And for the central Circle, the speedo, I've used one T10 Bulb with 9 white LED's.

Even I used more led's on center, the light escapes around on the small circles, so It seems that is has less light.

Maybe if you put the same kind of Led on the 3 circles, the light will be too much different because of the size of circles and location of LED's inside the speedo.

I also made this mod without taking out any part of the bike. Just used my arm and a lot of patience to find the bulbs without seeing them. Just my fingers to guide!

But.. I'm happy with the result!

Thanks! I'm really happy with my bike, this Ninja 250R is the Bike of my Dreams (for now... )

The sticker... ohhh yeah. VERY nice!
Here is the link from where i've bought it: [Don't Screw With My Bike!]

I'm really considering painting my rims. White Ninja with Gold Rims.. but.. I'm afraid not to get the right color. I'm still thinking about that!

My next UP's are Laser Spark Plugs and K&N Air/Oil Filter.
Later, I'm gonna built a LED dot to use as 3rd brake with a Brake Flashing Modulator. Just waiting the Led's package to come!

I'm looking for a Tank Bag with Magnets. I prefer the ones that can be used as backpack after you take it off the bike.
I'm between this two models. Anyone knows something about them, or recommend another?

Ordered the sticker! Thanks for the link. How are the Yoshi rearset brackets compared to stock and how difficult was install?

Congrats for the sticker! Very nice!

About Yoshimura Rearset brackets... I think that my position on the bike is now much better. With my foots a little bit rear, I'm able to adjust my legs better on the tank of bike.
Installing it was very simple. It takes about 2 hours, and I got to take off the left side of motorcycle just to adjust gears pedal.

I think that my position may be better with new clip-ons. I'm interested on Shinto clip-ons, to make my ride position more sport, but it's to expensive buying from here. I'm still thinking about it.

I was looking at them because when I ride I notice pains in my knees, I was hoping the yosh sets and yosh foot pegs would help relieve the issue.

Stay away from Shinto, there is a lot of bad blood between forum members and them. I have never dealt with them personally, but you've been warned. Look at Woodcraft, they seem to be very popular clipons around here.

Well, I think Yoshimura brackets may help you. As your feet stay on a better position, my opinion, it will solve your problem.

About Shinto.. I like very much the quality of products, but I've heard here in Brazil that Paul (the guy that sells Shinto for some people of KawasakiBrasil Forum) is not a good person and the last people were not so happy with him.
I was thinking about another clip-on, but I don't know anyone. Now that you've told me about Woodcraft, I'll look for some information about it.

Thanks!
I've seen Icon tank bags, the seems to me very good quality, but I wanna use them for traveling, so Icon's are smaller than the others I've seen.
I prefer Monza style and colors, but it's smaller (20-24LT). And.. my father always says to me that "a big bag for sometimes is better than a smaller one everytime".

Otherwise, this one is expandable, and I suppose this is very good (30-40LT), cause I can use it BIG MODE or SMALL MODE.

Did you think about parings these with the Yosh rear sets?

http://stores.sportbiketrackgear.com...l.bok?no=13737

I've been wanting to get these for a while. I thought they would work really well when I did the brackets like you have.

I'm changing my mind right now.
I've seen Rapid Transit Tank Bag (Recon 19 Stack LT). Think I'm gonna buy this one. A kit: Magnet Tank Bag and BackPack Water Resistant.

Yeah.. I've just bought on eBay my Rapid Transit Stack LT Magnetic Tank Bag.
It seems to be the best choice for me.
30 liters of capacity, water resistance, backpack option and rain cover included. And, it has a great sport looking too. Payed U$ 133,00 with shipment.
Now, just wait about 10 days for delivering!

Tiago, I'd leave it, the pearl white without the SE stickers looks awesome! It's such a nice and clean look.

I think It's something about being exclusive. Cause here all the white ones wanna be SE White, and there all SE White wanna be Stock White

I'm interested on that rear decal, cause I think the rear of bike is all black, don't like it. White color make the bike bigger, and with an all black rear, motorcycle seems to be smaller than it is. But... just thinking.. not complaining...

Received today the Rapid Transit Tank Bag and Backpack.
Awesome! Bigger than i thought, and excellent product, amazing quality.
Very beautiful and carefully done.

I'll take some pictures with them and I'll post for you to see.
