I went on a ride from Vancouver to Squamish yesterday on my new to me bike. I had taken it to Kawasaki Dealership and got a carb clean, spark plugs, filter, oil change done as it was having some issues staying running after ~30 minutes. It would also heat up quite a bit in this short time too. Picked the fixed up bike from the shop a week ago.

Yesterday the ride went well, didn't notice any problems. When I came down to my bike this morning, it was leaking gas. About a drip every minute or less. I tried to start the bike to see if it would start normally, and to see if it was ridable to shop. When I tried to start it, gas started pouring out of my exhausts on each side.

Can anyone give me an idea of what's happening?

Edit: Okay, so I've got my bike back from Burnaby Kawasaki inspected fuel system and found that petcock reserve filter had come off and was free in tank allowing sediment to flow into carburetors. They disassembled carbs and cleaned them out. They reassembled and re glued filter. Balanced carbs and ran up motorycle.

They said this wasn't related to the initial work done. In a carb cleaning they don't normally look at the petcock reserve filter, and it was just bad timing that it happened at the same time.

Burnaby Kawasaki has been great to work with and have been impressed with their cooperation to resolve this issue and get the bike up and running again quickly!
