has anyone ever used the passenger style foot pegs for there primary foot pegs?

i think that would cause some problems since the regular foot pegs are spring loaded and have the scrapers on the bottom. it would suck to be in a lean and you foot peg sticks up.

replacement pegs (a new set) run you around 20

Someone talked about doing that on ninjette.org a couple of weeks ago. Don't recall which thread.

Check the part numbers, but I think the pegs stayed the same from the pre-gen to new-gen, so this mod might work with little to no issue.

I am currently using the right passenger peg in the forward rider position (funny story there) and the only problem I have had was when I was at the mall and my shoelace got caught on it and picked it straight up. So far I have just been to lazy to get a new peg lol
