I'm a victim of bumper disintegration in my clutch basket. Besides the awful clicking there was the telltale debris in my oil screen. I tried another used clutch from Ebay but it had the same problem.

Are there any manufacturers that make aftermarket clutches for the F model 250's? I'd rather not give Kwakasaki $250 for a clutch that may develop the same problem.

I'm looking for aftermarket clutch baskets. They documented the nature of the problem over on Ninja250.org (http://faq.ninja250.org/wiki/What%27s_that_noise_coming_from_the_clutch%3F).

Look on Ebay.
I did, I got one advertised in good condition with 4000 miles that had the shot bumpers exactly like mine.

Maybe see if a new gen basket will work/fit.

Ouch, I know how hit and miss it is though. We had to get 3 new gen front rotors before we got a good one to do our wheel swap on the old gen. Try again, it's still got to be cheaper than a new one. Or, I can look in my stack of motors and see if we have a good one.

The basket on the new gen has springs instead of that rubber crap. Dont really see why it wouldnt work.......
