Hoses on the gas tank and the antifreeze

Posted July 11th, 2012 at 04:38 PM by J>A>V

So i have two hoses on my 2006 kawasaki ninja 250r that are connected only on one side. One hose is connected to the gas tank(the only hose that goes on it) and another thats conncected to the antifreeze overflow. I've looked and i have no clue as to where the other side is supposed to connect. can someone help me out? verrrrrry confused.

ATGATT I know, but this one time... it was hot... and...:/

So Old Navy had its big $1 flip flop sale and I really wanted to go! The only way I could get my boyfriend to go was if we took the bikes. But I was too hot! It was getting late, and I had a cute outfit on! So I decided to ride with my flats on. Not only did all the flip flops sell out by the time we got there but ended up seeing a few biker friends out and before you know it we're 10 deep and on an intense ride.

As you can see I totally ruined my favorite flats around a few of the turns Yes I know I know, don't say it! It was stupid and what not. #lesson learned. I have an interview tomorrow and no black flats It could be a whole lot worse! Like no toe, broken foot/ankle, etc.
On a good note, I stayed in the front end of the pack and showed those boys I'm no joke!

SixSigma Jet Kit

Posted June 1st, 2012 at 10:07 AM by Countersteer

The purpose of this entry is to recommend the SixSigma jet kit. I followed their directions exactly and had outstanding initial results. Without any adjustments from the initial installation I only have a slight "lean" situation in the upper RPM range. I believe the fuel mixture screws will fix this.

Here is what I did:
1. 117.5 Main Jets
2. 40 Pilot Jets
3. 2 Needle Shims
4. Drilled additional hole in Vacuum Slide w/ #59 drill bit
5. Cut off one loop from vacuum slide spring
6. Readjusted Mixture Screws out 2.5 turns

I highly recommend SixSigma based upon my initial results. I will update this after I tune the lean out.

My gear thus far

Posted May 29th, 2012 at 08:09 AM by CalvinAmI

My gear thus far.
It's not the best protection, but it will do until I can get better gear.
I wear a light weight windbreaker jacket over the top, and jeans over the bottom.

What did you do to get your first bike

I don't ride as much as I use to, but both bikes stay ready all of the time. The trick to keeping a bike a long time is to have it always sheltered and always ready to go. I am more proud of my old bike than when I had brand new shiny ones. New tires every 3 years whether the tread is good or not. Oil changes every 2 to 3k miles. A new battery every 2 seasons. Keep em clean.... Plus I have a great mechanic. Go make some memories with your dad- one day they may not be there. My dad and I always had a strained relationship thanks to my moms brainwashing as a kid. We had a good last 5 years before he was killed. Tell them you love them every chance you get. Get lots of pics too. I can't find one pic with...

Below are Installation Instructions for the DanMoto Baffle. The Baffle is universal and should fit all DanMoto Slip-Ons.

The first set of pictures is the DanMoto GP CF.

The second set is the DanMoto Jisu.

Three month update

Posted May 16th, 2012 at 12:15 AM by x only performance

I bought my 2008 Ninja 250R on February 6th 2012. It was my first motor cycle purchase and I was so excited that I rode for three hours in the pouring rain. Since then I have done the following mods:
1) Hotbodies GP Slip-on
2) put a metal mulisha decal on the windscreen
3) Painted the windscreen black (the paint cracked but it looks right with the metal mulisha decal.)
4) cut rear fender down a little (i think ill go a little further though)
5) installed rearset adjuster bracket

i will update with every mod
