You will be hated in the paddock for taking up the space of 2.5 riders. But if you are willing to hang out to yourself in the cheap seats (back of paddock), then have at it.
Awesome idea though. Or.... just buy an ez-up with walls and enjoy wind/rain/sun protection AND have a more private area for your cot. Just bring a piece of carpet/rug for your sock feet.
