Assuming you checked the simple stuff already...

Battery still good? airbox and filter clean and clear? Then... 33k without a valve check

. Hard cold starts but easy warm starts point to valves. It's time, and your way past due! Might as well check and clean those carbs while you got the bike down for maintenance. It's only a few hours work tops.
