Amen, after a 400 lb dry Ducati came into my life, I sold off my '84 Ninja 900 and GS1000S "Cooley replica"....realizing my small stature was a much better fit on the lighter Duc.

Even sold my 1956 BMW R69.....no turn signals (not required back then), a tiny tail light (Euro model, not DOT approved). I favored the Ducati...the R69 sat dormant, I finally sold.

My VFR800, though I like it, is an armload on a long, twisty venture.

Light is right. Pic of the '56, it was cherry. My first and only true, full, frame up resto.
But a collector bike, not a rider, severely dated. Lacked room to become a "collector".... hence my decision to sell. Worth a pantload today. I bought it for just $200 way back when. Note its' massive, oversized, 10 gallon Heinrich tank.
