Hello all, I am new here and pretty new to owning a bike.
About a month ago I dropped my bike going 30 and had to do some maintenance. The shop I towed my bike to told me the engine was hydro locked and that other than a carb clean and replacing a fuel line (it was the petcock, and that change went along just fine it seems), the bike should be good. I attempted to clean the carb myself but now it seems I've created an issue and the carb itself is leaking! Also, the bike makes a deep rumble and has no power past 5k RPMs.
Trying to locate the leak itself is a bit difficult but it seems to be coming from either the top, or the middle.

this old thread that seems to match up a bit of the currents problems but I'm not entirely sure, given that I am also having the power/acceleration issues I described. If anyone can provide any help narrowing down a cause it would be much appreciated.
