an FYI, though not recommended
a couple of experimental pics from years ago

pic 1 yellow marking the "transition port" junction location
pic 2 exposed transition port
pic 3 requiring removal of this plug

this plug removal procedure is purely informational/not recommended at all as normal cleaning methods should get all 3 ports clean
