Car pulls out in front of me.. Low sided :(

Guy pulled out In front of me at a car park, it was wet, used my brake.. Low sided. Happened about 3 weeks ago.

The driver left the scene so no 3rd party for insurance.

Damage was cosmetic (bent handlebar, bent gear shift lever, left fairing scratched, headlight fairing, front left indicator smashed), insurance company said it was a write off lmao. Decided to repair myself , parts on order right now apart from fairing, that shits expensive!

Learnt a few things, such as get the number plate straight away, try to use my gopro whenever possible, remember some people don't know how to drive.. Stuff like that lol. Going to use this as an excuse to store it over winter and upgrade it for summer.

That sucks man! Sounds like you are ok though. People can be jerks and some really have a hard time driving.

I love the black 250s, they look really nice! You should try to use OEM fairings on your repairs, you'll be much happier with the end results (I know they are insanely expensive but it's worth it).

Good luck getting your bike back together!

Funny thing is, i wasnt on the throttle, was going roughly 5-10mpg. I believe there was some diesel on the ground as they just resurfaced the carpark days ago with various trucks and vehicles.

Some Parkin lots here have some kinda sealer on it that's slippery when wet, even to cars, idk why anyone would put it on something made to drive on.

Hi, glad it wasn't worse. Something very similar happened to me as well, luckily, like you, the damage was only cosmetic.

This makes me think that there are so many incidents where you'd be "better" off just ramming the ****ers.

Glad you're ok.

Always less painful and expensive repairing steel and plastic than flesh and bones.

Practice emergency braking at the beginning of next season:
