What to do this an old visor....

Okay so I have an old visor that has given it's all, it's totally spent, scratched up and not useable anymore.

So what to do with it, keep it just in case? Maybe but I have several new ones in the wrappers. Throw it out? Seems like a waste. How about a Viking funeral? That would be awesome.

Then I thought of making it into something not only useful, but something I needed as well.

So made a clock out of it

I ordered a clock kit off eBay for less than $2.00 USD, measured and drilled a hole, painted the inside of the visor, because it was a clear one.

As I keep some of my helmets on top of my entertainment center, I just installed the visor back on the helmet, and presto!

I now have a clock in the living room.

Nice. I once made a sprocket clock. I don't like throwing stuff out either.
