Talking Going to the track!!!

Hi guys, I'm finally getting the chance to attend a track school this year in November. It's going to be held on the 3rd and 4th of the month. Could you guys please give me any pointers on what I might expect over there? The school is run by Apex Racing. They have their own racing team and also hold riding classes every other month. From what I've been told, most of their trainers are ex racers, so they should know what they are doing. I'm going to be transporting my bike there for the event. The suspension and tires are stock, will that be a problem? I was planning on changing the tires, but couldn't fit it into my budget. Will change them sooner than later though.

If you can't do anything about your tires and suspension then ride within their limits as well as your own.

Have fun and eager to hear the report!

Unhappy Rain down on me...

Soooo.... My dream of going to the track got rained on.... Quiet literally. Today, a day before leaving, I get a call from the organizers saying that the track even has been canceled due to excessive rainfall, thanks to a cyclone off the coast of Tamil Nadu/Andhra Pradesh. Pretty disappointing considering this has cost me almost 200$ and I have nothing to take away from it...

Damn!!

That's too bad man! $200 is a lot of clams to have disappear.
My first track day was on the edge of a typhoon, but it didn't rain enough to cancel, and unless I was getting my money back I was gonna ride.

My 2nd track day is this Sunday. The forecast looks more like rain every day.

Hope you get another chance soon. That track looks like a fun challenge - especially turns 2 & 3 then 9 & 10.

There's another one in december, if you're still up for it.
Same track, but different organizers

Yeah man... It really is. The track guys are giving me a refund, but the 200$ I lost are for transporting the bike to & fro + the ticket cancellation charges, as I was flying there... Hopefully things will work out some other time...

I'm really sorry.

You have been happy about the track day for ages now, and then the weather ruins it.

Don't loose hope and keep it safe on the road.
