Can i see a picture of your installed Shogun frame sliders

I installed mines over the past weekend. I don't have any pictures of mines right now but I will get some tonight. The reason for this post is after I installed it, I noticed the left side of the frame slider is.... extremely short. I think if my bike were to lowside, my fairings would not be protected on the left side.

I wanted to see if this is true for everyone else. Googling images doesn't give me both sides of the bike for reference. Does anyone else notice this or is it just me?

The set i have on my 300 are side specific and one is longer than the other... May be worth double check you have the correct slider on the correct side as the newgen and 300 should be the same.

Yeah I have it installed on the correct side. Long one being on the right side due to the exhaust and the shorter one on the left. The issue is the left side's slider is just way too short to protect anything

You obviously mounted the cross bar correctly, did you also put the correct pucks on the right side? The slider pucks are also different lengths...

Sorry, I am not too familiar with the terminology. Which is the cross bar and which is the pucks?

The pucks are the bits sticking out of the fairings, the crossbar is what they bolt to.

Please excuse the drawing...

I mounted as such as shown in figure 1 on each end. Are you saying that I however have installed those bars on the wrong side (left belongs on right, right belongs on left?) and need to switch them out?

I don't know if its possible to mount the crossbars on the wrong sides. Check the part numbers against the installation instructions.

What side did you put the longer puck on? It should be on the left side according to the instructions.

Edit: just reread your post, you mixed the pucks up. Swop them out and you should be fine.

you may be able to get away with just unbolting them and sliding them out.

With imgur pics use the "resize" option. the little square with the blue triangles. comes out normal that way.

Looks good!
