First ride after crash

So it's been about 12 weeks since my accident. I took the fairings off today and inspected it for damage. Everything looked good so I took it for a ride on some side streets. Don't worry I'm going take it slow and work my way up gradually like when I first started riding. I want to thank everyone here for the all the advice and support you all gave me. It really helped me get through this. My leg is at about 75%, still got a few more weeks of physical therapy left. It would be funny to take my bike to my next session or even better my next doctors appointment. LOL

Thats exactly how my bike looks right now. Except for a thicker exhaust pipe/muffler.

Every time I see one of these bikes I think, I'd like one of those... oh wait, I have one

Keep things mellow and don't push your limits unless you're in full gear.

Good to see you back on two wheels. Fear is a mindkiller - don't let it stop you from doing what you enjoy.

Just batshit crazy. All his posts are endless diatribes. Some are actually entertaining but mostly batshit crazy.

At first I didn't like how it looked without the fairings, but it's starting to grow on me. I might keep it like that for a while. It's like having a whole new bike. Haha same here every time I look outside and see it I think "That's mine hell yeahh."

You'll be surprised. I was scared sh&*less about getting back on my bike after my accident. Took about 100 yards and a gearchange and everything just fell into place.

Actually it's still a bit scary after 8 years, but just keeps me on my toes.

It took me a while to get comfortable leaning after my lowside. Damn mental blocks. I guess that's why riding is 75% mental and 75% physical
