Hello everyone, I'm 41 @ 6.1' tall and I ride a 2010 250. I get alot of bullshit from people I know because they all ride big bikes but it doesn't really bother me because they don't know what this little ninja can do. It's my first bike, I got it back near the end of April and I got about 1200 miles on it now. I am feeling like getting a bigger bike not because of the peer pressure but because I went on a 2hr trip (4 hr round trip) this past weekend and when I got home my rear was so sore!!!!!! Not to mention my knees. I made really good time though, passed every big bike I saw. Maybe one of you guys saw me, I was on a blue ninja with blue and white gear and a black helmet. LOL

Maybe a change to your suspension and/or a custom seat would help your "butt fatigue".

Welcome!!

There are plenty of mods you can do to make the 250 a bit more comfy, starting with the seat... there are many threads regarding the seat, here are two to start:

Corbin Seat
Question about Corbin seat

Welcome I'm also 6'1 I love my 2fiddy. I'm looking into some rears sets, clip-ons and a good seat to accommodate my size, right now i have the rear sets and it does help a lot.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys, I already had my heart set on a corbin seat but my pocket needs a rest for a while. Although i'm a mechanic by trade and i save myself a ton of money by doing all the work myself this little ninja can still get very exspensive. I just bought the bike 2 months ago for starters and i did the tank protector, chopped the fender, installed the stage 2 dino jet kit, installed the JT15t front sproket, blue reflective wheel tape from Progrip, and now i'm ordering the zero gravity db windscreen to see if it will help with the 75mph Plus wind battle. Eventually i'll get my corbin seat, untill then my arse will have to bear.
