Fairing discolored?

Hey fellas, so i just put on my new fairing. The person who had before me dumped it and the cawling and right fairing got jacked up. i already replaced the back cawling (don't no how to spell that) and just finished with the fairing. It's a little different shade, has this happened to you guys? i mean its not that big of a deal, just annoying to me (stepdad said nobody will notice tho unless you tell them you changed it).

heres what it looks like

the picture doesn't give it justice, it's actually a good bit more lime green then darker

a cowl (cowling, also known as panelling, hatch or hood) is a removable or openable covering.
a fairing (also referred to as a cowl by stupid insurance agents) is bodywork designed to provide air streamlining.

notice the usage: seat cowl. front fairing. nose fairing.

i'm colorblind, but it looks like the same color to me

It will fade some if left in sun a lot, your new piece probably hasn't had as much exposure.
Maybe a fresh coat of clear will brighten the other pieces back up??

I can see it. Did you order OEM? It could be that the paint on the bike has simply faded over time while the new fairing is still the original color. I also noticed when I was checking out camerons bike (which is a red 09) that his tank and fairing were different colors. I'm guessing that either the paint on different surfaces faded at different rates.

haha i was gonna get a blacked out 250 of the same year, ended up getting a good deal on this, plus the girls love the color. blacked out is more badass, but this green is more appealing to the ladies.
