I don't know if i'd fancy riding in inner london, people just seem to love pulling out without looking and making last minute changes.

Great video! It really captures the London riding experience. The music track you choose is great.

I quite enjoy riding in London; it's exciting! I don't know whether I'd want to do it more regularly than I already do. Thankfully most inner London riding is at relatively slow speeds so when you [almost inevitably] screw up or get screwed, it's probably not going to be to bad. The 50mph ring roads around London are pretty scary though. I definitely would not want to come off on one of them.

I've had lots of nice things happen while riding in London. Last time I was there I got stuck in a complete grid lock where there wasn't even space for bicycles to squeeze by. I ended up chatting with this KTM rider who was side by side with me as we very slowly nudged forward as the traffic moved. He kept having to turn off his bike because it was overheating. My ninjette was ok though.

Oh... love the opening sequence! I do the same checks every time I get on my bike and it's become routine now for me to remove my disk lock. Only time my bike has been moved with the disk lock on was by a mechanic who forgot about it. The rear disk brake got bent when he tried to wheel it away. He bent it back for me though so it's all good!

I though NYC was Sketchy.

Are drugs legal in London?

I swear half of the motorists featured in this video are driving under the influence.

What is wrong in London! Traffic was nicer in Thailand....

Yeah guys...

There's USA..
Then there's LA..
Then there's NYC.....

Then Europe....
Then there's friggin London...
Then there's riding in Turkey............

Then there's India & China...........................

That's how the pyramid goes. When I see people cry about LA/NYC, I laugh.

Some drugs are legal. There's probably plenty of people on mind altering pharmaceuticals!

I think a lot of the problem is just how many people there are in this very small area of space. The width of many of the roads was, in many cases, decided and set 100s of years ago when horse drawn carriages were all the rage.

A lot of it just comes down to "**** this ****, I am late for the meeting if I don't make it i'm fired i'm not stopping for anyone! No time to stop and look at this junction i'll pull out really fast and i'll be ok" if you can cut someone up and you think they'll have enough time to jam on the brakes then they do it.

Given london is so big with so many mental roads, a lot of people are riding on roads they have 0% experience with, and unlike american cities that tend to be in grid formation which is very easy to navigate, london roads get bigger and smaller and faster and slow etc etc.

Having drove in:

New York
LA
San Francisco
Hawaii
Florida
Glasgow
Morocco
France - a few places
Spain - south

I can safely say that London is worse than all of them put together, people are just a lot more aggressive in London.

this is a tiny section of inner london, like the site it comes from says, the roads were just not built for cars unlike many other places.

I just got back from a ride through and from London. It was fun! 2 hours of intense concentration! My brain is more tired than my body Though... my clutch hand is a little worn out.
