Too many to count, most past, some current.
- Flying (instrument-rated private pilot) - Recumbent bicycles - Whitewater kayaking - Racing cars (both real and R/C) The main one, though, is music... I play bass in a working band. (Gig this Saturday, 3/27, at the City Limits Cafe in Waterbury, CT... come on out!) http://www.coolshoesband.com |

Wow... you actually KNOW what a Bongo is?
I've got four of 'em. Fantastic basses, capable of leveling whole cities. Re the twin bit... I dunno. Unlike me, your hair is taller than you are. |

Yes, I have even played a couple Bongos, along with the Stingrays, and about everything else in the EB line. I LOVE the sound they put out. Now if I could only talk my Wife into letting spend that kind of $$$. I have always been a fan of Ibanez playability, so thats what I have stuck with. I am really big on the BTB series at the moment. My main live and recording bass is the BTB570 w/ Bartolini Mk2's and the Mk2 preamp. 18 volt system=thumpy happiness!! |

I've been building some SD (super deformed) Gundam models lately. I don't have the time or money to be buying the detailed scale models.
It's nerdy, I know. But I'm OK with that. Don't judge me. I also do a little golfing but I'm not good or anything. Just something to do with my best buddy. |

those dirt RC tracks look so cool. In the same parking lot as my job is a hobby shop who hosts a street track event every saturday. Once the gas powered cars get on the track you hear them all day long for miles.
I am huge nerd PC Gamer. I also enjoy video editing and pretty much anything on PC (except RPGs) currently competing in a league for Team Fortress 2, chilling in ArmA2, R.U.S.E, and various other things

Hey rockNroll, thats quite an airsoft setup! I have been doing weapons and tactics training since 2006 (with hopes of becoming an instructor someday) and we use the same type of setups ALOT in shoothouse scenarios. Those things have made me bleed a few times... Th RC cars look pretty sweet too!

I've only been riding 3 months after quiting 29 years ago.
Soon after I quit riding this are all the hobbies that followed. Shot IPSC for 3 years in the early 80's. Same time raced RC cars with my kids. Then took up mountain bike riding for a couple years bombing down fire roads. Then road bikes for 5 years doing centuries, double centuries and triple centuries. The triple was to be finished in under 24 hrs, and I did it in 20. This was called the Grand Tour held every year in Malibu. Also rode the Tour of 2 Forest a very hilly double. Then got into long distance running. Did 4 marathons in a year including the LA Marathon back to back years. Then got into airgun competition. Shooting Field Target. Won the CA state twice, and AZ State twice. Came in 4th and 5th at the Nationals. Same time I took up drag racing, and built a 11 sec 427 C5R block camaro naturally apirated as a daily driver. Race the Super Chevy, and local LACR, Pomona, Fontana, Irwindale, Carsbad, Formosa dragstrips. Did HPDE track sessions at Fontana, and autocross. Then rimfire and highpower silhouette shooting. Won the CA state rimfire in my class. Took 3rd at the Nationals in Raton, NM. Last year won the AZ state Highpower Silhouette championship in my class. Then went back into handgun competition. Joined IDPA, and USPSA and just finished 5 years of non stop weekend competition. The USPSA Nationals was held in Las Vegas last Oct, and shot both the Limited, and Open class nationals. Came in 82 out of 400 in the country in Limited, and 100 something place in the open class out of 400. Then bought a scooter to ride with local ruckus riders last Aug. And Jan of this year bought my Ninjette which I have been riding non stop! So it goes!!! With my family video games, skateboarding, roller blading, camping , and joined a bowling league with my wife! |

umm does reading and surfing the net on motorcycle topics count? I do have a dirty secret hobby, I like to play D&D every once and a while. Used to play Rifts Pen and Paper back in grade school, but lately I have only been involved in the D20 system.

figured youd know being in S.C.
ill give you the short version of how we do it. there are a couple of diff ways. you have bay dogs and catch dogs. i run at least 2 bay dogs, but you can run one if hes awesome. the catchdogs are usually bulldogs or sometimes if your ritch you can run dogos. need 2 catch dogs. keep the catchdogs on a leash and let the baydogs go find the pigs. once they find them the pigs will run. baydogs try their best to single out a pig and stop him and keep him at "bay." can run several miles. then we get as close as we think we can get without the pig knowing were there. usually 50yd or closer depending on environment. then you turn loose the catch dogs. they dont make a sound just run in hand hit the pig runnen. good dogs catch on each ear. we run in as soon as they catch and grab the pig by the back legs and roll him over on his side. then if we want to keep him alive we tie him up and if we dont we stick him in the heart to quickly dispatch him. rinse and repeat. thats about it. |

What a wide range of interests!
Aside from motorcycling, i spend most my time programming videogames, and building robots and various other mechanical contraptions. I love drawing and painting, as well as wood working and sculpting for bronze. used to surf and skateboard, but the knees don't like that too much anymore

I have only one hobby, well it more of a habit than it is an actualy hobby. I love to goof on people in forums. I would never do it on this forum however; I really post some nonsense on other forums. I like to see how gullible people can be. Now I only do it for fun and not to be mean but, if you have ever fallen for a nonsense post please go up to the mirror, look at yourself, and repeat, I feel so stupid.

Videogames are my bread and butter when I'm not straddling the steel horse. I'm a pretty shameless RPG junkie for the most part, but I'll play anything that looks even vaguely interesting. I'm actually a game tester right now, so I work on games all day, and yet I still can't wait to get home to play them ^_^ Otherwise, I also draw/paint (just digitally now- I save a lot of money on materials that way, and generally prefer the result), and read copious amounts of mostly japanese comic books ( A couple american and korean books also slip into my library every now and again, because JTHM, The Walking Dead, and Spawn are way too freakin sweet to ignore, and Priest rocks my world). I guess I'm what the layman may refer to as a "nerd" type creature. |
