There goes my luck.

When is riding season going to start? 3 miles of this was enough.

The only walking I did was up the driveway. The rest was what I imagine someone's first time on a thumper would be like.

but yea, I get what you're saying. Also, badass for riding in that! What do you do to keep the face shield from fogging, and how do yo keep your hands warm?

I rode 15 minutes today, first time in about a month. I took it out briefly after work to charge the battery and whatnot. Next week is looking NICE here in Ga for some good riding!

I mostly keep the face shield up or alternate between up and down but my visor doesn't fog too much. I had fleece lined 'thinsulate' waterproof gloves, not motorcycle gloves but then again I'm on a 50 in snow, so..... I was actually sweating riding around in that, its a lot more physical activity than you might guess!

Be careful with this. Have had to get to an eye doctor twice in the past few years to remove small pieces of metal debris that got into my eye after riding. I find it comfortable to ride with the shield up a bit as well, but try my darnedest now to keep it down while moving. Our eyes are fragile little things, and even a decent sized insect at speed can do some damage.

^seconded, I scarred one of my eyes as a kid and it sucked. I've also been temporarily blinded by dirt flying up from a car in front of me because I had my face-shield up at ~20mph and that's with glasses on.

That said I still ride with my face shield up at low speeds anyway, especially in the summer

if I'm on a street bike or going faster than 10mph I have the visor down always.. but I was riding in 6 inches of snow in circles at really low speeds. if there was any metal, there is metal in snow now and that is more concerning than getting it in my eye! but yeah, I can't imagine riding on a highway or on my way to work and getting a piece of metal in my eye or even a leaf or a bug or a tiny piece of a woodchip... not fun. I am with you on visor down. I actually really hate the feeling of wind in my face, even sans debris, anyway.

I dont care how many CC's your bike has or that you could only ride in circles in the yard and that you "had to keep it under 10mph" I am suoer jealous you got to RIDE!. All my bikes have been (like many members on this forum) stored since late October-early November. This winter is killing me! I am glad you got a chance to ride but it is really like pouring salt in a wound for many of us who only get to remember rides form the past!
