Post of Pic of your favorite road/twisty
Here's a pic of my favorite road- it's on Glendora Ridge Road....it's got a few straightaways just before hitting the turns
Anyone else have a road or turn they love to tear up on their Ninja? |

There are a lot of fun roads in Cali. Ryan rides route 18 to Lake Arrowhead. I'm scared to drive on mountain roads in a car which pretty much has kept me from trying that route. Something about no guard rails and being able to see straight down to the valley scares the outta me. |

It's route 18, it starts off in San Bernardino and goes up into the San Bernardino National Forest to Lake Arrowhead and you can loop around to Crestline and follow it back down. It's a huge elevation change, it always makes my ears pop going up there. Since you are in Glendora all you have to do is take 210 east and take the 18/waterman exit. Hang a left onto 18/waterman and have fun going up the hill.

A couple of shots of some local roads that we have learned to live with. The biggest down side is very little traffic and the one road is only 60 miles long. lol

Ohhh that's what GMR is. I'm still getting used to my bike and honestly just started riding 3 months ago... took the MSF course and bought my bike the following day. I haven't attempted really anything beyond the commute to campus, bike night and Dairy Queen, lol. When Ryan and I both have a day off we ride out to Lake Mathews to help me get used to getting up to freeway speeds so I can tackle the freeway eventually. I will have to let him know about those rides, he is always looking for new twisties. What is the route? Also he told me last night that he would meet up with anyone to ride.

take the 210 East....exit Sunflower-hang a right.....to Foothill go left to Valley Center hang a right to Seirra Madre-left to Glendora Mountain Road quick right!! Follow GMR up and have a blast! From there- you can go to Mount Baldy or Azusa Canyon....Maybe he and I should meet up one day? The turns are very technical but a blast! |

An active and (now) paved logging road between Port Renfrew and Lake Cowichan on Vancouver Island.
Normally there's not too much traffic but you do need to keep your eyes peeled for logging trucks and tourists pulling trailers and boats with their RVs and SUVs. |

A little gem we came across on holidays, Mount Revelstoke National Park. Unforunately you have too pay to enter national parks, but it was worth it. Really tested the o-ring. Would have been alot better if it wasn't raining. Might have to go back and try it on a dry day. 23kms one way, desent pavement, little traffic.
