Redneck Ingenuity/Inventions/Solutions
This should be a very fun thread as there are already so many examples on the web.
Have you seen a creative solution to a problem or have seen a "redneck" way of solving a problem, then post it up! I aint much on thread rules, but if you can post a "problem" that needs a solvin' then please let us know. I will start... When your son wants to learn to hit a ball. I present to you....

For such modification, I would not be surprised if the vehicle has been modded for rear wheel steering. Just like a forklift. lol.

Man, these are far more creative/crazy than anything that popped in to my head.
The first thing I thought of was a single 2x4 loosely tied to a railing with 550 cord, supporting a really expensive FLIR system on an observation tower. It was pretty clear where the budget ended and the enlisted Marine started. Neglected to take a photo after I stopped laughing. |

I've done that before. Had a full sized Dodge W250 with an 8' bed. Made a nice pool on a hot day. Now my Chevy 2500 has a cap on it, does that mean I have an indoor pool? Will have to see if I can find my sons Ice Bucket challenge from a couple years ago. put a tarp in the back of the truck, Went over the club and filled the bed of truck with as much ice as I could get out of the ice maker, parked facing up a slight hill, filled the rest of the bed with water and dumped it on the kid. |

This is all I have for now, until I get to my dads house to get a picture of his tractor! I originally thought I was going to be able to explain me "secret" brake bleeding trick but this theme is much more entertaining!

This was on CL this morning. The header claimed 65 mph. The ad says - "Built Motor Billet connecting rod Billet flywheel 22mm Mikuni carb Governor removed 6000rpm Max 10lbs valve springs installed to handle rpm Header and muffler Head light Brake light activated by both brake controls Turn signals Pull start Front and rear drum brakes 40-60 Mpg 3/4 gallon gas tank New tires rated up to 95mph" Could be yours for $500. I bet it does good wheelies, even if you don't want to. |

I have some redneck ingenuity for you, /S just braze a quarter over my piston to fill in the hole. (I would never do this, this is just a throw back to the guy I saw revit a piece of aluminium from a popcan onto his piston, I think I mentioned it earlier up here)
