Redneck Ingenuity/Inventions/Solutions

This should be a very fun thread as there are already so many examples on the web.

Have you seen a creative solution to a problem or have seen a "redneck" way of solving a problem, then post it up! I aint much on thread rules, but if you can post a "problem" that needs a solvin' then please let us know.

I will start... When your son wants to learn to hit a ball. I present to you....

Link to original page on YouTube.

Other examples for inspiration....

Redneck question: How to stay warm without fire?!?!?!?!

Oh yay! I've seen a few lately that I've been meaning to share with the resident redneck. Now I just got to find them again....

I love this one, don't have a pick up truck, just convert your S-10 blazer to a 5th wheel.

It's almost doing one sitting still. I can't imagine those front wheels do much steering.

For such modification, I would not be surprised if the vehicle has been modded for rear wheel steering. Just like a forklift. lol.

Man, these are far more creative/crazy than anything that popped in to my head.

The first thing I thought of was a single 2x4 loosely tied to a railing with 550 cord, supporting a really expensive FLIR system on an observation tower. It was pretty clear where the budget ended and the enlisted Marine started. Neglected to take a photo after I stopped laughing.

I mean, if done right, 550 cord would be stronger than a screw.

This was on CL this morning. The header claimed 65 mph. The ad says -

"Built Motor
Billet connecting rod
Billet flywheel
22mm Mikuni carb
Governor removed 6000rpm Max
10lbs valve springs installed to handle rpm
Header and muffler
Head light
Brake light activated by both brake controls
Turn signals
Pull start
Front and rear drum brakes
40-60 Mpg
3/4 gallon gas tank
New tires rated up to 95mph"

Could be yours for $500.

I bet it does good wheelies, even if you don't want to.

I have some redneck ingenuity for you, /S just braze a quarter over my piston to fill in the hole. (I would never do this, this is just a throw back to the guy I saw revit a piece of aluminium from a popcan onto his piston, I think I mentioned it earlier up here)
