What to expect going from race 250 to stock 300 on track?
My 250 is basically a pile of rubble, so I'm taking out the 300 (bone stock) for this weekends trackday. I know to take it easy cause the suspension and brakes won't be as good, but will I be able to pull as fast times around the track?
Also are rearsets for the 250/300 the same? I might stick those on the 300 for a little ground clearance. |

The bolts are bent as well as the frame tabs so it'll be tricky getting them on after. Have a gsxr shock, springs and emulators, lowered front and raised rear

10 more HP right out of the gate, stock to stock. Should be able to go just as fast or faster.

Biggest differences will be you, ergos and the tires. The lil bit of extra power shouldn't be something you can't handle right from the start.

The aftermarket rearsets are interchangeable. The clip ons are as well.
I found the front suspension far springier than the 250's, just replaced the OEM springs with Race Tech internals, what a difference I put a TYGA - Performance full Maggot system on with a Dynotune fuel controller, now chasing a map for this setup, using the yoshi one for now. |
