Physical issues? Awesome rig!

A friend of mine posted this, shows a pretty awesome rig. Don't know the gentleman's story but he can ride!
Close up of the rig at about 16min.

It seems to be a support for two cameras (one on each side).

Was that bike w the dual camera prop, a control rider maybe?

Not sure that's a good setup on a race bike, as most will crash eventually.
Also, see how fast he is and not getting off bike w BP.

Definitely worth a watch. Those look to be feelers. Since the rider may not be able to get a knee out/down, he may be using them as feelers to detect lean angle.

Once you get enough track experience, you will know.... "If the track has the traction and the tires have the grip, you can be awarded many options in BP."

Impressive riding none the less, although the filming rider is real greedy with the throttle at times. When you get exited about a breakthrough in lap times and pace it happens like that sometimes. Adrenaline works like that.

Yes, they could be feelers of max lean angle.

Definitely, those are not cameras.

However, after some research, and seeing the shape and forward point of linkage to the bike's frame (note the projected shadows in the pictures), it also could be outriggers to keep the bike from falling at stops:

"I met this guy at TWO last year and rode with him a bit. Unfortunately I don't remember his name. His outriggers were made from plans he found on the internet. They were controlled by a button on his grip but he was hoping to modify them to be automatic. I passed him again a few weeks ago in the mountains."

"It was spectacular........It's hard to explain but it was almost like I could walk again.
When you drive your car or me sitting in my wheelchair, it's rigid, but on a motorcycle, because you can lean and you're fluid, it's like I had movement back.
How you can dance on your feet, I don't have anything like that, but I could go forward, back and sideways, the bike moved with my body, it was like I had movement."
