Can my bike be inspected?!
So my tachometer isn't working it just sits at zero can my bike be inspected? i live in Pennsylvania i looked through the dmv inspection regs and it looks like you don't but one of my local shops said it does? i looked the whole bike over and have found no issue for the tach to be bad but i haven't opened the cluster itself yet.

a tach is not required... many hd's don't even have one.

Of course it can be inspected.
Oh wait, did you mean pass the inspection? (j/k, it should be fine either way. As Chris said, many bikes don't even come with a tachometer. A working one is a bonus.)

Nope. They may look at it just to write down the mileage. You should be fine... play it safe anyway and don't mention it doesn't work lol
