Well, this looks interesting. Almost like your kit @garth285 only the plumbing has been reversed.

Yep sure does!

They apparently built that kit like almost right when the 300 came out but I never heard anything else.

Ricky Gadson told me on the phone the other night they built it, thats why I looked into it.

Why is it that when people turbo bikes, they always straight pipe the exhaust after the turbo? Seems like you'd still want to not deafen yourself as you induce tunnel vision...

pardon my ignorance.

I personally like dump pipes but they usually make more power with a dump pipe. It a really not all to loud though sounds like an a tv going down the road

Hmm to each his own I guess. I'd rather just make a large diameter pipe and run it back to a more 'stock' location with a large diameter glasspack to attempt to quiet it a bit.

If I was going to ride this as a street bike I'd do the same thing. But my bike is for land speed racing

Turbo=muffler

Its not near as loud as an n/a engine straight piped, and turbos HATE any exhaust restriction.

I am actually all set to go to the dyno in January. The nitrous bike with the 265cc engine is perfect and ready to make 70hp. Then I will put in the 249cc engine that is balanced and had Carillo rods and all fresh forged Pistons and valves. Ohio is May 2-3
And I am bringing it.

You are in the competition. The all motor barrier at 250 cc is still under 40. A bored 300 has toped that.

I have 61.5 with nitrous

The turbo in Indonesia put up a 69 after I did 61 on there 59. . I am going to try to break 70. I just need to buy two O2 sensors for the dyno. I test ran the bike Sunday. Sound stupid mean.

Oh wow I only saw a 59hp pull, 69 is getting up there.

I really wish I knew how much power I was at with the boost levels I'm running now... yet again I think the VZ21 might boost more than that 11psi. I was only getting to 10,500 rpms on my last test ride. I may be able to squeeze in a pull tomorrow so we'll see!

All I know its hella fun riding a boosted 250 lol

The HP wars hav been going on since 2008. I never read anyone making 30 hp from a pre gen bike. I have never gotten more than 28 hp from mine. Then the 2008 came out and with Pistons and ignition the power jumped to 34 and that is about it. The Kawasaki factory bike made 35 using bigger valves. That is the bike that came to Maxton and went 111mph.

I hit 40 hp with a quick shot of nitrous going 121 and then the turbo guys came out with 49. I changed to the Wizards of nitrous and made 50 but that was the point the coils maxes out. I went 123.
They set the bar at 59 with 6 psi and then I got new coils and went 61.5. The doubled the boost and made 69. I said uncle.

The rods and stuff are from bigger bikes. Or bikes that used similar parts. I have been told by old drag guys that the engine can hold 60 per rod. I have better rods and balancing. Better oil flow and hope to get to 100 hp. The clutch is the weak link, but a big old pile of money can over come most problems.
