How to have fun at a rainy track day

My friend "Sticker Steve" having a bit of fun in the garages at Putnam. It rained nearly the whole day but didn't dampen the mood.

It's like I always say, "It is what you make it".

In fact, I think this was just a bit after this happening to me. I wish I had rains that day so I could have mixed it up with them.

highlights: 4:40 to 6:30 - passed reactor way too close
7:10 to 7:45
8:37 to 9:34
9:48 to 11:00
11:40 to 12:30 (another close pass with reactor ...sorry man!)

The seriously close passes are at 5:45 and 12:15 through the same 2 turns. I love riding in the rain!

He is giving a hand signal to the riders behind him that they are upon an off pace rider that may get spooked if passed close. Although she is a great rider (on a 250 too ), it's a respect thing. Watch it in HD, you will see he holds 1 finger up, meaning "Wait 1 minute". So it a "casual" wait signal.

Everyone in this video knows each others riding pretty well. We ride together nearly every weekend during the season. If you ask the guy who gave the signal, he would rather go down than her.

Thanks how we roll....

Actually, that was a good question. Sometimes, depending on the track or weather conditions. You may have to take matters in your own hands when it comes to on track events. You can't always wait for a flag.

Even on the track, use your best judgement.

I should have taken you over there. My bad yo but you were doing great and didn't wan't to mess with your flow. Meeting our pit neighbors was cool too. If you see them again, they will gladly help out any way they can. Even though they were complete strangers. That is how most riders are.

We will spend more time in the coaches garage next time.

You have my . lol

Hey no worries, I just wanted them off my track so I could ride more!

It was a little overwhelming at first anyways. For most of the morning, I was just worried about remembering which turn was next.
