why i like cyclegear
so awhile ago i bought a pair of a* smx plus gloves from cycle gear. they were nice. i liked them a lot. i wore them a lot. and a hole opened up at the seam on the palm. i thought i was gonna take them to the cobler and have him patch it and i mentioned it to the guy at cycle gear (i was picking up an oil filter and some spark plugs) and so he decided to exchange them for me, but he didnt have any of those in stock so instead i grabbed a pair of dainese druids ST gauntlets. though i did wind up having to pay for $5 which is what was left from the spark plugs and filter.
naise.

That's why the clerk did what he did. Awesome customer service leads to good reviews and that leads to more customers. Now I want to go to Cycle Gear for my next pair of gloves. See? It worked!

It's a hit or miss with cycle gear. Some are cool, but some have crappy customer service. Those gloves look nice.

i'll give them a try and let you know. i normally do but i found these druids and they are a lot nicer than the other dainese gloves i've seen. they dont look like the phantoms but they should do their job. i'll switch to phantoms once these wear out

+1 for CG Stores!!
If I ever want anything off their site, I drive about 45mins to use their store instead. In fact, just Friday, I picked up a Pilot Road 3 front for $120 (w/ tax) when the tire is $149 on their site!! |

I made the mistake of mentioning that I work at a dealership the last time I was at Cycle Gear. The guy went from a 110% effort on trying to sell me a Shoei straight back to the counter in an instant.

Cycle Gear rocks. A pair of gloves that I recently ordered from them just arrived a few days ago. I took them out on my way to school (70 mile round trip) and they hurt like hell. The day after I emailed Cycle Gear about the problem and I just got an email from them saying that even though they are opened and used I could return them for a full refund. They even apologized!

I love cycle gear. They let me try on the stuff so i know what size i need when i go ebay, amazon or revzilla to make the purchase. I try on the brand name to get a fitting estimate for other stuff in that brands line up.
Cyclegear is awesome! |

^Yes. So true. Also, until recently the local CycleGear only carried some Built and Street&Steel women's gear. Now they have a little more, but not by much, and only in size 40/42 and up. :/

Not a fan of cyclegear. Limited selection and their in-house brand is not something I'd trust, to protect my skin.
