Hi all. I am 48 years old & just got my 1st bike. I did a lot of research & decided the ninjette is what I wanted. Found a 2006 with 2650 miles. Passed the MSF course in September, got the bike on 1 Nov. Been out maybe 6 times & loving it, but here in SE PA the days are getting short & cold. I wish I had started motorycling a long time ago. If any of you are nearby & want to ride sometime, let me know. I am in Chalfont.

I gave up the bikes when I committed to 10 years on the floor of the NYSE. Within a few years of leaving and living in a perfect road bike area I too did my research and still have my 05. Welcome, remember we're invisible out there bro. Luck, happy trails.

Hey I just joined the forum too and I'm a "returning rider" in my 40's. I am surprised how many of us returners and first-timers who are 40+. I'm getting the idea that it really isn't that unusual. There's a right time for everything. Safe riding!

Yeah, I don't know what it is, but the MSF courses here in PA all fill up way in advance, & I wasn't the oldest guy in mine. Way I figure it, more riders on the road is good for all of us, in terms of cager consciousness, political voice, etc. Anyway, safe riding to you too. After noon here it is supposed to be almost 60 degrees, & I am planning to be on the bike (although far away from shopping areas!)
