Weirdest Thing You've Carried
We've all been frustrated at times with the lack of practicality of riding a ninjette. You can't bring something home from work, would like to stop by the store for some milk, etc. Yet . . . we've all probably done it anyway. I've stuffed a 1/2 gallon of milk in my jacket, probably unsafely bungeed all manner of things to the passenger seat.
So what is the weirdest thing you've carried on your ninjette?

Good thread... when I was 19 my roommate and I both only had motorcycles so every day was a trip to the grocery store, before I had an expandable tank bag I did like you and stuffed everything in my jacket... milk, eggs, cereal, whatever.

Well, I carried my dog for over 30 k miles on my Goldwings. She is a great rider. She weighs about 40lbs....just a mutt She is now 17 and hasn't ridden in a few years. She always gives me dirty looks when I leave on the bike and I don't take her. She learned to look around me and lean in the curves. I wish I could take her on my other bikes, but there is just not enough room.

A band uniform. Sit on top of the garment bag, and bungee strap the hatbox to the back seat.

On the Ninja, a 14lb bowling ball
But I have carried 28 large pizzas and a case of soda on a Yamaha Zuma and on another occasion, I had a 12 foot Xmas tree across the footwell of the same Zuma.

A 25x20" hard plastic portfolio filled with art supplies. I used a tie down strap in the most ridiculous arrangement until I had some money to buy a backpack portfolio.

I use a backpack. Nothing really weird but groceries.
I really want a tankbag, but I'm afraid it'll scratch my tank when dirt collects. Tailbags is probably what I would get, but I kinda don't like em. They look uuuugly. |

No matter what we carry, it can't compare to what happens in Asia.

Fun thread!
A Tupperware of homemade chocolate chip cookies (see picture) lol!! 10 pounds of homemade, crock pot BBQ for mom's birthday lunch...just last week! lol! I'll do anything to get where I need to go on 2-wheels when the weekend weather is sunny and in the 70s!

Not my own pics, but this is the sort of weird/crazy stuff I saw the locals carry on their bikes all the time when I was in Vietnam. Even saw a guy carry a refrigerator on the back of his moto... unfortunately didn't get a pic of that one. |

Mickey D's actually tested out their delivery service here in parts of South Western Ontario a few years back. I don't think it's around anymore. Seems to work better in congested urban areas. Like Manhattan for example, which I believe they deliver to some areas and high rises.

And, on the bright side, if you happened to have a close call and wet yourself as a result, no stink and easy cleanup of litter clumps.

I was pretty much terrified on all traffic lights. So easy for anyone to just snatch it without me noticing anything. But all was well I will not be doing that again most likely...

I carried my dad on his V-Strom once...
As in, he was on the back seat of the V-Strom... Not the V-Strom and him on the back of my 250...
