Any recommendations on pants for short guy?
Hey everyone, so I am looking for some pants (preferably overpants). Not wanting to break the bank here so looking to spend less than $200. Anyways, I am worried about sizing. I am a short guy 5'3" with a 30-32 waist (I wear 30 jeans, some fit great, while other brands are a bit tight), and I have a 28" inseam. I am looking for something that has a little bit of armor, doesnt look completely ridiculous, and can slip on/off pretty easily.
So far, I think the revit axis pants are what I am set on but I would like to check out some more options. Thanks |

Look into Cortech overpants. They have many sizing options labeled as "short". I have found it essential to try this on before buying or make sure they have a good return policy.

Do you have these? I am actually quite interested in them as they offer much better padding compared to most in the similar price range.

Firstgear produces long, regular and short gear.
Unfortunately, their short overpants start at 34: http://www.firstgear-usa.com/pants.html Tourmaster is the other manufacturer that offers more than regular length: http://www.tourmaster.com/xcart/page..._textile_pants Their short overpant starts at 32~34. Textile overpants have some elastic material around the waist, as well as leg-long side zippers for putting them on with boots.

Don't forget as well that in the riding position, your pants will ride up a bit on the length. If you normally wear a 28" pant inseam, you'll want your overpants to be a bit longer than that you give you proper coverage when riding.

I don't have them but a few of my friends do and they like them. Padding seems to be adequate for the price. I can also tell you they hold up pretty good in a crash.
