New V2V technology could be great for bikers
It seems like this could be a great tool for bikes. The technology enables vehicles to "communicate" with each other. A vehicle could warn another vehicle of an impending collision or you could be told another vehicle is coming around a blind turn. These kind of things would be really handy on a bike.
Obviously there would be lots of things to work out but it has potential. It's years away currently. http://www.engadget.com/2015/05/18/u...ion/#continued

It's interesting, there's some great idea to this. Only thing I could think wrong is what if some body uses this to basically create traffic jams. Tampering with what things are used to create safety is what people do for fun lol.

Apparently Honda and BMW are already working with the DOT on this technology.
"Honda is also adapting V2V to motorcycles as “V2M.” Honda says V2M will help make motorcycles more visible on the road by warning drivers of their presence even when the bikes are obscured in blind spots." Read more: http://www.digitaltrends.com/cars/ho...#ixzz3aVvntuRm
