equvilent of putting a spiked collar on a chihuahua. looks retarded and serves zero purpose. lol. Had a friend do this and went down he got some nice spike holes to remind him not to put them on his bike ever again.

Each to their own but I'd also ask "why" and hope that you don't get spiked by them if you ever come off (not that I'm wishing that on you)!

I don't mind them. Personally, I would not get them, but I understand why someone would put these on a bike. It's all a custom, personality marker. Scorpion likes this look and styled the ninja a certain way. Props for the individuality!

Wow you really got hated on Scorp. I looked for them on ebay a couple weeks ago and only found some in that $20-30 range. Good for you.

Do you think this would help keep the DC Crackheads away from my bike? If so I'm all in, no matter how it looks. It would shorten my commute by a good half mile.

Its a zero-gravity double bubble windscreen, in light smoke!
i got it from the ZGOutlet (ebay store) for $44.99 + S&H (Total $56.95) Its a Factory 2nd. 100% Brand New, but had afew slight scuffs, and some small bubbles around the upper 2 holes (wellnuts fit into). Nothing noticable once i put it on and buffed the windscreen with some 'PLEXUS' cleaner! It didnt come with zero-gravity stickers/decals, but i asked ZGOutlet to mail me some. They did for Free! I got 3 styles of stickers, with 4 of Each Type! Total of 12 ZG stickers... soo many... TOO MANY to stick on my Ninja! |

I gotta say, JaeL is right. You got hated on for no reason. Yeah, they might be dangerous if he goes down, but there's no way damage isn't going to happen from something like that right? I like the way this looks! I've been considering doing the same thing with my ninjette.

Are all bolts universal? Like, could I buy spikes or whatever that are made for a 636 or zx-6r or something?

Most sportbikes use 5mm (M5), hex bolts for fairings and windscreens. Now some of the other bigger hex bolts on our 250Rs are M6 (6mm) and the spikes i bought WONT fit into these areas. (Nor would i want them too, ) |

Not really hate, but it's just the strong release of personal opinion that we call "hating".

Well to me, i like the look of the Spikes! To me it adds a 'Warrior' theme to my Nate, as a Ninja is a type of warrior-class.... hmmm why not!
Ok, as afew of you know about World of Warcraft.... notice on some of the Shoulder Pads for Warrior class, characters in the game have :gasp: Spikes on their shoulder pads? If the warrior falls down in WoW, does he/she get spiked by their own spikes and die? If i fall during a wipeout on my Nate.... im thinking having Spiked windscreen/front fenders is the Least of my worries! "Itsreload" ring a bell? That crash looked to me like his own Bike landed on his left knee/leg (along with those rocks underneath) did the damage.... Not any Spikes, if he had any on his Bike. So if Spikes you hate, then maybe i should put these on my Bike, eh? http://www.jcwhitney.com/CHROME_PLAT...;0;0;2006713;0 Feel free to Hate on those also.... |

I have the skull decoration. I put them on the bottom holes of my license plate to hold the plate cover. Doesnt look to bad, plus they have red eyes to match the bike.

I see guys around here with spikes on their helmet in a mowhawk fashion. Also that custom blue ninja with flames on here, aren't the handlebars spiked? I don't remember for sure, but THAT would be something i would worry about for sure, being impaled by a handlebar.
