I'll agree that there is no correct BP for everyone mainly because of some oftentimes huge ergonomic differences between riders. An aspect which is rarely discussed in the BP debate. Last futzed with by tgold; October 13th, 2015 at 07:45 AM. Reason: spelling |

I will admit that I was in the camp of "worrying about body position too much" from the get go and once I stopped thinking about what my body was doing and concentrated on going as fast as I could, I started going a LOT faster. Now, with that said, Im really glad that I put in work on my BP early on because when I stopped thinking about it, I still had muscle memory of what was "correct" and I just did it without thinking about it. As Ive said in a couple earlier posts, I think that finding your reference points for anchoring yourself to the bike are much more important than worrying about how far your butt is off the seat or how far down your head is. Personally, I like to spend the morning practice sessions at a more relaxed pace while working on reference points/lines and using a more exaggerated body position. Then, in the afternoon, I stop thinking about BP and just start concentrating on going as fast as possible. I know my BP isnt "as good" at this point, but I still end up going a lot faster because Im comfortable on the bike and have confidence from not having to think about/process SO much information all at the same time. This is just what works for me. Everyone is different and there are many approaches to it. I agree that there is no "universally correct" BP and each person has to work to find what works best for them and allows them to go the fastest. |

I can't get it out. It's a constant reminder about the red mist.
I get a little street cred for wearing a rashed up suit though People legit think it's cool. I mean hey, if sliding across pavement at 55 mph is your idea of cool, then by all means, let's swap bikes and lives because while it was uneventful for my first crash, I don't wanna do it again. |

It really looks like you've lost it and this was shot a few dozen milliseconds before crashing. I mean, that's MotoGP-like lean angle.

what is that, T4? T9?
gnarly lean angle through it regardless, it really looks like you lost the front but saved it because you were on throttle and the weight was on the rear

Btw Sirref I see you ride with TPM as well. I may have seen you around main before. I kinda jump around between n2,tpm, and MARRC for the most part but whenever there's a Summit Main event I'm almost always there. I'll be setting up this 300 I just purchased to race with everyone next season. Hopefully I see you there |
