Just saying Hi
Hi new rider & member from California! Determined to do a engine oil and filter change and needing some guidance I found myself here. Great info that I am reading and using. What an advantage we all have today to be able to communicate with the world leaving no question unanswered.
Found the info that I needed; changed the oil and filter (it took an hour and a half and I did it and all by myself) Next time will be much faster since I will not be looking for a bolt that is still connected to the bottom thing i unscrewed. That consumed a good 50 min right there. K bye |

Welcome Sparklenation!
There are tons of very good info and great peeps here! If you're a new rider: spend some time studying in the Riding Skills section as well as the "How to" for your year of bike. And remember; there are no stupid questions. For the record: if you ever interpret a reply as a criticism; you're interpretation is wrong. There may be the odd clipped reply and one or two blunt characters here but I can guarantee no one is criticizing! We all want riders to be safe, have fun and learn. This is by far the best forum on the Internet for a new and not so new rider to find and learn from. You are living near some of the finest riding in the world! Take baby steps and enjoy a lifetime of wonderful, two wheel adventures.

Thanks to everyone
The information I have found already is amazing. I am reading and absorbing everything.
I am having fun and going slow, really slow. The most fascinating thing so far has been the turning instruction " look where you want to be" .... bam done just that easy. and allot of info on the best places to be depending on situation. So much to learn, but very ready. safety classes coming soon. This month |
