Rattling noise after crashing
I have a 2007 ninja 650R and I whiskey throttled it popped a wheelie and ate gravel the bike kept moving then slowing stopped and fell over on its right side. I don’t have any fenders on the bike so it hit everything only thing visibly broken was coolant reservoir which I’ve already fixed and flushed the coolant. The rear brake pedal is bent in just a little I have a new one just haven’t put it in yet, the front brake lever is bent just a little too but the brakes are working fine. After working on it today and finally riding it again I’ve heard a rattling noise when in the lower rpms. I don’t know if it’s there when I’m driving in the higher rpms because I can’t hear since the bike is so loud. But when slowing down I definitely hear some kind of metal scratching/rattling. What should I be looking for. I need an oil change idk if that has anything to do with it. It does not make the sound while in neutral and revving.

Check your front brake rotor, maybe it got bent?

I’ll check that thank you, it might be the new kickstand it gets awefully close to the chain, why is my stock kickstand so close? Could the chain be loose from the crash? I put the kickstand on the day after I crashed it so it could just be that idk how to fix it tho since it’s a new stock kickstand that is installed correctly

Look and see if it's touching bottom of muffler.
Take photo and post it here. |

If you can replicate the exact conditions when noise occurred, purposely and repetitively causing the noise should allow you to concentrate and "zone in" on the origin.
Take the bike to a large, empty parking lot or other safe space to safely control the conditions, if at all possible.
