Idles great until put under a load
I have an 04 that I have been chasing issues with and need some more help. I replaced the Chinese carb with an oem carb, then traded/bought for a ducatiman refurbed carb, added back a factory airbox, and replaced the spark plugs. The bike started when I put the new carb on and idled great I got excited tried to ride and the bike loses power and wants to die when you stop, you can restart the bike and it idles again and sounds good but does the same thing. I don’t know what to check next.

at 10k, def suggest a valve clearance check. You have screw and locknut type valves...no need to pull cams.
using a catch can, remove the fuel exit hose from the petcock, crank for a few seconds and if working, your can should fill up in a few moments with fuel exiting the petcock and should stop when you stop cranking. Let me know results.

to clarify.....if my wet testing (after rebuild) reveals any leakage, NO CHARGE to you (parts included)
An FYI.....my famous, softer than stock diaphragm o-ring is included, swapped automatically.
