The difference is at the $430 is I am paying out of pocket for the gauges. At $460 I'm making about $20 on them. There is a reason why I do not sell them. They simply cost way to much in my mind. I am only doing this to add reps.

so any approx time line on when the undertail exhaust will be ready to rock? I'd love to be one of the first on the list to pick one up! I'm just hoping that frame sliders will work with this puppy, and that there wont be any suspension compression interference out back

how about the wheels on that yellow bike, those are sweet looking.
I like the little dress up bits, the Ignition trim ring, front sprocket cover, exhaust hanger, and even the rear brake res cover. I like the headlight not sure about the halos still but i do want projectors |

Projectors cost a fortune trust me. Then you have to mount them yourself by cutting into your stock headlight.

Also for anything you see on the cyber ninja site I can generally get. The difference is don't expect them to be cost effective because most times I end up barely breaking even on stuff I have to have sportisi source. Also anything I order from outside of sportisi carries zero warranty whatsoever. Items like the duc tail, other companies huggers and pretty much anything fiber glass be weary of.

I have a question. 250R stock rearsets will bolt up to the Pre-gen, will your ajustable rearsets clear everything on the pre-gen? If so, I am going to order a set. Do you have a pre-gen you can test fit on??
Thanks, Steve |

I bought one for a customer and it is still at my house. I charged what it cost me plus actual shipping. Total is going to be around $300.

I looked at that too. There are tons of them on Ebay for relatively cheap, but then you have to mod them and make a ton of changes not to mention if they would actually fit and how it would look when it is all said and done. Just decided to take the easy way out and get Matt to pick one up for me.

FYI, I started calling it a "ducktail" because I saw that that is what integrated tails like that are called on other bikes, like the GSXR, but not because it's a "Duc" ("Ducati") style tail.
Everyone seems to have taken the "duc tail" thing and run with it. Granted, it is more descriptive of this particular product because of the Ducati-style "air-scoops" on the front, but there are other ducktails that come stock on other bikes that have nothing to do with Ducati-styling. The name comes from the tapered shape of a duck's behind and the little openings where the folded wings meet. The integrated turn signals spaced far enough apart to meet most regulatory requirements (unlike undertail signals) looks extremely similar to a duck's folded wings staggering the tail. Of course, this Ducati-style one also has turn signals in the undertail area (something we discussed early on). |
