Ninja Won't Start!!
hey all, havent been on in a while, mostly because of the crappy ohio winter months. its 50 degrees today, and i went down to the garage to de winterize my bike and take it for a spin. Before storing, i put in the recommended amount of stabil in the tank, and took out my battery. Just a bit a go i put my battery back in and wanted to let my bike warm up. I go to start it and it just wont start up. it sounds like its gonna start right up but just keeps going without firing. I know nothing about carbs and how to diagnose. Im thinking they might be gummed up or something somehow. is there any quick fix for me to get it started and let the gas in there now just burn out? any help is greatly appreciated. i will stand by the computer wearing my riding gear hoping i can get out today!!!

Full choke, dont touch the throttle, crank crank crank. when she starts to sputter a bit and act like it wants to run back off the choke just a little bit. crank crank crank and hope the battery holds up.
My lil 250 is MEGA cold blooded if she doesnt get started every couple weeks in the winter and I have a heated garage. Once you get her going and burn out all the old gas get some seafoam and at it to the next full tank.

first i tried the WOT flood clear method, and it started gurgling. i let it sit for a while and finally got it to start and it wouldnt stay running for nothin. after a bunch of cranking and full choke, it finally started up and stayed running. thanks to all who have posted on here regarding issues like this. i was able to piece different peoples answers together and got mine to run finally! now to clean and lube the chain, and off to the streets!
