Where to buy Shogun frame sliders in Toronto
Anyone know where I can pickup Shogun frame sliders in Toronto?
My bike shop doesn't carry them. In fact when I asked about sliders in general they didn't think there were any for the 250! |

Hey,
I couldn't find Shoguns last year...ended up getting them at Bayside. They have a Canadian site so can skip and Revenue Canada paperwork. |

I purchased mine from http://www.fatbikez.com/. Shipping was alright (approx 2 weeks), though the store does not use USPS, so I had to pay about another $20 worth of import fees on top of the 'shipping' price. One more thing, whatever the TOTAL "Canadian" price is, they will once again convert that from American dollar to Canadian dollar -- Yeah, very misleading.
I suggest you keep searching. If I knew I would be paying all those hidden fees for 2 weeks, I wouldn't have purchased it from them. BTW, the shogun sliders are a great choice! It takes a little effort in installing them (as I tried just a couple weeks ago), but they look great! see you around, and ride safe |

Are these the ones from baysideperformance.ca? The picture looks like it's missing a part.

Here is a US-based store that seems reliable from all the positive feedback online - however I'm not certain about Importing charges. That link may show pictures for a different bike/sliders, but what you purchase would be ninja250-specific. That $170 price tag seems right to me too. Request USPS shipping if possible - definitely worth your time when it comes to importing. |

For Bayside, if you use the pull down menu the price for the 250R no-cut slider is $203.96 before taxes and shipping. I think the picture they have of the components is incomplete and that's what threw me off.

I got mine from New Enough with frame sliders for my husband's bike. We didn't get assessed duty or tax for importing them
I didn't install them myself; a local shop did. He said it was "a challenging" job. He also said it was a good idea to get these ones because it's a crash kit rather than just frame sliders. |

Thanks all. I'm a total noob so I think I'll have someone else install them for me.
