Are you guys getting these paint/decal jobs as standard? In the UK we only get solid colour, or the green one with the black panel and white stripes

Hmm, had a look at the UK website and there's only a choice of green or black still.

Mind you, I have seen a red 250 - but there's no mention of this on the website.

Those new schemes are quite funky, I wonder why the UK doesn't get them? The changes for the 2010 includes green with black tail section, and both colours come with a matte black tail pipe instead of chrome.

Nice job, just be careful with Blue lights. Most places frown on blue lights on anything other than emergency and law enforcement.

I put 2 short stripes 1 in the front 1 in the back, then two long on the inside of each side faring. I wired them straight to the battery, then ran the wires to a switch that I attached to the bar that holds the front fairing with a zip tie, to get at the switch you simply reach in by the handle bars and flip it. I didn't want to drill any holes to attach the switch to. They can stay on for about 2 hours or so before you should start your bike to recharge the battery. I also think they have them where you can change the colors.

Here its flashing blue or red that's frowned on, since mine don't flash It's all good.

Yes, they come like that. I ended up taking mine off. I didnt really like them all that much, but liked the paint combo.

Thats me in front of Buckingham Palace in London, UK, and no your not allowed road vehicles where we parked, ha ha ha! But well worth it!! Had to grab some pictures and blaze off because we had armed policemen making their way towards us!

I know its not a great bike shot but i personally think its a great photo!
