The problem isn't that just men are not willing to be chivalrous its just the fact that society as a whole, both men and women, are no longer interested in it. In today's society people want their information, conversations, food and well everything to be faster and readily available. In turn you lose all those other things such as chivalry and being a nice guy to getting to the point. Its been my experience that being a nice guy just isn't enough anymore, you have to be much more.

Well, i for one am very interested in chivalry....i like my doors being opened, and my seats pulled out by my man, seems that men now a days don't feel its necessary to do that.

I agree though, being a nice guy doesn't get you by anymore... society has become very money hungry...SOME women would take an a-hole that has money, then a nice guy that will treat them well but doesn't have money...so sad.

It's true, I am a nice guy I do open a door and know how to pull out a seat. I usually don't go all out unless they notice that I am doing it for them. On a note though the money hungry deal is so true. I'm not a rich man living in some grand house with sports cars lined up outside. But, in the area I live in a make well above the average household income. I am 27 and single, own my own house, work full time, ect. ect. First thing I noticed is that girls from my past that would have nothing to do with me because I was just a nice guy but had nothing going for me (financially) are now calling me asking to "hang out" go watch movies, go out to eat, and so on. I typically acted like an A'hole to them just to see how they took it, and if anything they became more interested. To my astonishment I couldn't understand why they would even bother with me since I was being such a douche and secondly why they would even go as far as to say that I was such a nice guy!!!!! If anything these days I am way more guarded as to telling people what I do for a living just so I don't attract the "oh look he has money" women.
